In December 2023, Royal Enfield witnessed a slight decline in sales, with 63,387 motorcycles finding new homes. This compares to the impressive 68,400 motorcycles sold during the same period in the previous financial year.
The domestic market, constituting 57,291 units, experienced a 4% decline, whereas exports saw a more significant dip of 29%, amounting to 6,096 units.
CEO’s Perspective
Reflecting on the brand’s performance, B Govindarajan expressed immense satisfaction, citing the year as “exceptional.” He highlighted the global acclaim received for recent motorcycle launches, including the much-talked-about Shotgun 650.
This model, a bold reinterpretation of custom culture infused with Royal Enfield’s DNA, signifies a thrilling new chapter in the brand’s design evolution.
