Honda CB200X: Exterior Design

Like the CB500X ADV, the design of the new CB200X looks muscular and has a rugged stance. Its striking bodywork is highlighted by its fresh graphics, giving it a unique identity. While the robust diamond-type steel frame guarantees exceptional handling.

Meanwhile, the CB200X features a comprehensive all-LED lighting system, including an LED headlamp, LED winkers, and a distinctive X-shaped LED tail lamp. However, the comfortable split-seat arrangement, the practical two-piece grab-rail, and the rider-friendly triangle remain unchanged.

Honda CB200X: Features

The bike maker has used advanced technology for enhanced performance and safety. In terms of safety, the CB200X gets Dual Petal Disc Brakes with single-channel ABS. Moreover, it also gets a new Assist & Slipper Clutch, making gear shifts smoother and preventing rear wheel lock during downshifts.

With its upright riding position, the CB200X strikes a perfect balance between high performance and comfort. The motorcycle also gets a fully digital instrument panel. This instrument panel offers customization with five brightness levels and includes a Speedometer, Odometer, Tachometer, Fuel Gauge, Gear Position Indicator, etc.

Changes in Powertrain and Suspension

With this update, the new CB200X is now powered by an updated 184.4cc, single-cylinder engine. This engine is now OBD2 compliant and gets a PGM-Fi system, producing 17bhp and 15.9Nm of torque. Moreover, this engine is paired with a smooth 5-speed gearbox. With its high efficiency and ample torque, the CB200X’s engine delivers an exceptional riding experience.

Honda has used USD front forks and a mono-shock for the CB200X. It gets a front and rear disc for the braking hardware and single-channel ABS as the safety net. The setup is mounted on alloys wrapped in road-biased tyres. Moreover, the motorcycle also features a new Assist & Slipper Clutch which eases quick gear shifts and prevents rear wheel locking while downshifting.
