Ola Slashes Roadster Price to Rs 79,999

Festive season usually brings colour and celebration. This year it has also brought a big price cut from Ola Electric.

The company has reduced prices across its Roadster motorcycle range as part of its Holi Mahotsav campaign. The biggest highlight is the new starting price of Rs 79,999 for the Roadster X. All prices are ex-showroom.

This move comes at a time when Ola’s market share has dropped to around 4 percent. Last year in January, the brand held about 24 percent. In February 2026, Ola sold 3,968 electric two wheelers and slipped to sixth position in monthly sales. It was one of its weakest months since 2022.

Here is the revised Roadster pricing

  • Roadster X 2.5 kWh at Rs 79,999
  • Roadster X 3.5 kWh at Rs 92,999
  • Roadster X 4.5 kWh at Rs 99,999
  • Roadster X Plus 4.5 kWh at Rs 1.09 lakh
  • Roadster X Plus 9.1 kWh at Rs 1.89 lakh

The X Plus versions come with larger battery options and more features. With these changes, Ola is clearly trying to bring the Roadster closer to regular commuter motorcycle buyers.

The Holi Mahotsav also includes limited time festive offers. Special prices will be revealed during select 90 minute live windows, and only limited units will be available at those rates. Existing customers under the Ola Insiders community will get an extra Rs 5,000 benefit during the Muhurat Mahotsav period.

The company has also announced an extended 8 year warranty offer on select S1 Pro and S1 Pro Plus scooters during the campaign window.

Ola is not just cutting prices. It is pushing hard across motorcycles and scooters at the same time.

The Roadster now starts at a price that sits much closer to mass market petrol bikes. Whether this helps Ola regain momentum will become clear in the coming months. For now, buyers have more choices at lower prices.
