One of the prominent Indian automobile manufacturers, Mahindra, has launched the new Supro Duo CNG in the market. This mini-truck is retailed at a starting price of Rs. 6 32 Lakhs Ex-Showroom. With this launch, Mahindra Supro Duo CNG becomes the brand’s first twin-fuel vehicle in its segment.
Mahindra Supro Duo CNG: Features
The newly launched Mahindra Supro Duo can be run on both petrol and CNG. Moreover, the vehicle gets a CNG direct ignition feature in which the vehicle can be started in CNG mode. The vehicle also gets a CNG leakage detection feature, which shuts down the engine after detecting gas leakage. And, the vehicle can be seamlessly switched from Petrol to CNG mode without any hassles.
Mahindra Supro Duo CNG: Features Practicality and Powertrain
Mahindra has engineered the new Supro Duo CNG for enhanced payload capacity. The mini-truck can easily accommodate a load of up to 750kg. Moreover, the vehicle gets a large CNG tank capacity of 75 litres.
Mahindra Supro Duo CNG is powered by a powerful BS6 phase-2 RDE-compliant engine. The engine belts out 27bhp of power and 60nm of torque output. With this output, the vehicle manages to extract a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.35 km/kg. The vehicle’s capability is enhanced by the 145R12, 8PR tyres, and boasts 158 mm of ground clearance.
