At the prestigious Monterey Car Week 2024, Lamborghini has taken the wraps off its latest marvel, the Lamborghini Temerario, a plug-in hybrid supercar poised to replace the iconic Huracán. This highly anticipated model marks Lamborghini’s third hybrid venture, following the footsteps of the Revuelto and the Urus SE.

Powertrain: A High-Performance Electrified Vehicle
Dubbed a High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), the Temerario features a formidable twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine paired with a trio of electric motors, delivering a staggering 920 horsepower. This powertrain catapults the supercar from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed reaching 343 km/h.
Design: True to Lamborghini’s Aesthetics
The Temerario’s design stays true to Lamborghini’s signature aesthetics, featuring a distinctive wedge shape and sharp, angular details. The supercar is notably over five inches longer than its predecessor, the Huracán, allowing for an even more aggressive stance.

Hexagonal design elements, a hallmark of Lamborghini’s modern design language, are prominently featured throughout the vehicle, especially in the daytime running lights integrated into the lower bumper. The rear of the Temerario is equally striking, with simple, hexagonal taillights, a center-mounted exhaust pipe, and a fixed rear spoiler. The wide diffuser, with cutaways around the rear tires and underbody fins, gives the car a menacingly aerodynamic profile.

Interior: Luxury and Innovation Combined
The driver commands a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster for essential driving information, while the passenger enjoys a 9.1-inch display for entertainment and vehicle data. The central 8.4-inch touchscreen serves as the infotainment hub, seamlessly integrating with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for content sharing across all displays. Equipped with three cameras, the Temerario functions as a mobile studio, capturing up to two minutes of driving footage for the “Memories Recorder” feature. These cameras also power Lamborghini Telemetry 2.0, providing in-depth performance data for track enthusiasts across over 150 pre-programmed circuits. The interior is outfitted with premium materials like carbon fiber, leather, and suede, ensuring a luxurious driving experience.

Customization Options
The Temerario offers two exclusive new paint colors—Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius—alongside over 400 colors and unique liveries available through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization program. Customers can further personalize their supercar with a choice of three wheel designs, 20-inch front, and 21-inch rear, wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport or Potenza Race tires.
Battery and Charging: Optimized for Performance
Powering the Temerario’s electric motors is a 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery, ingeniously placed in the central tunnel to optimize weight distribution and maintain a low center of gravity. The battery can be fully recharged in 30 minutes using an onboard charger with a capacity of up to 7 kW.

The front axle is powered by two oil-cooled axial flow motors, providing all-wheel drive capability when required. A third electric motor, situated between the V8 engine and the gearbox, acts as a “torque gap filler,” smoothing gearshifts, eliminating turbo lag, and enhancing acceleration responsiveness.
Lamborghini has yet to announce the pricing for the Temerario, but the supercar is expected to hit global markets by early 2025, with its Indian debut following soon after.
