KTM global CEO Stefan Pierer recently hinted at the possibility of a 180cc KTM bike to be positioned below the very popular KTM 200 Duke. To our great delight, Stefan Pierer has now confirmed that KTM plans to come up with a faired and touring versions of the recently unveiled KTM Duke 390. The KTM Duke 390, which was recently unveiled at EICMA, has been launched in European bike market and it is a matter of time before the new Katoom comes to our bike market.
Stefan Pierer has further said that the rapidly growing Indian bike market will witness the launch of a new KTM product every 6 months for the next 18 months. This simply means that the touring and faired version of the KTM 390 Duke will be introduced in our country.
The faired KTM 390 Duke will go up against the new CBR 500R and would be come with a lesser price tag.
The KTM Duke 390 Touring variant will come with a bigger fuel tank and wind protection along with slightly reworked ergonomics.

After seeing Pulsar CS400, it looks like KTM tourer 390 is also exptected somewhere around on the same thoughts.
Would you know any news on when is KTM 390 touring version is going to be launched
Just out of curiosity, if touring version is launched for india…will it inherit the frame from naked version?
Adevnture series from KTM are generally with high saddle height! just wondering if a 5'6" person can go for touring version!
