New Kia Sonet

The New Sonet stands out in the safety department, boasting 25 safety features, including a robust 15 Hi-Safety Package and 10 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features. Recognized as one of the most tech-enabled compact SUVs, it offers over 70 connected car features such as Find My Car with Surround View Monitor (SVM), Hinglish Commands, and Valet Mode. Positioned as a premium and value-driven choice, the New Sonet has been identified by a Frost & Sullivan study for having maintenance costs 16% and 14% lower than the segment average for Petrol and Diesel variants, respectively. Kia India also distinguishes itself as the only OEM in the mass PV segment to offer 6 airbags standard across its entire portfolio.

The Sonet has been a global success for Kia, with over 3.6 lakh vehicles sold worldwide. In India alone, Kia has sold 2.84 lakh vehicles, contributing significantly to the brand’s overall domestic sales. Despite fierce competition in the Compact SUV segment, the Sonet has consistently maintained close to a 13% segment share on average over the last three years.
