Hero Lectro, the e-cycle brand of Hero Cycles Ltd., announced the launch of three brand new variants of their existing C and F series line-ups. As electric cycles become more mainstream in India, The C1, C5x, and the F1 are designed for a superior riding experience in the city as well as on off-road terrains and come with advanced Aluminium 6061 alloy frames for superior structural strength and corrosion resistance. The e-cycles depending on their variants are priced between Rs 32,999 and Rs 38,999.
The Hero Lectro’s commuter series introduces high-power 5.8 Ah Lithium-ion removable batteries which take about 3 to 4 hours to be fully charged. The 19” frames on the entry-level C1 model come with anti-skid alloy pedals, aerodynamic forks, and IP67 and IP65 dust and waterproof ratings. The cycle can ride up to 30 km in a single charge or up to 25 km on the throttle at 25 km/h. The new Hero Lectro C1, C5x, and F1 are powered by 250W BLDC rear hub motors and high-power Li-ion batteries. The E-cycle comes with dual wall alloy rims in different dimensions as per rider preference, RFID key locking, LED display units, and also a portable charger. The C5x comes with detachable Li-ion batteries, which makes them even easier to charge and swap. The E-Cycles can be bought on the Hero Lectro website and it is also available at Hero Lectro’s extensive network of over 600 dealers, and e-commerce channels. The cycles can also be bought from the Hero Lectro exclusive Experience Centers and Zones in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai.
