Akin to the RE60, the new Bajaj U-Car concept has low CO2 emissions and the new concept tips the scales at just 300 kgs. While the U-Car is targetted at intra-city commuters, unlike the RE60, it won’t be targeted at the commericial market. The car has basic comfort featurtes like an aircon
Powering the new Bajaj U-Car is a liquid cooled, four-valve, triple-spark, fuel injected engine that comes mated to an automatic gearbox. The U-Car is based on a new platform and the bodyshell is made up of plastics and sheetmetal. So far, Bajaj hasn’t made any plans to launch the U-Car. However, it will gauge public interest at the ongoing motor show.
With the launch of the U-Car, Bajaj has introduced its new U-brand of vehicles. The U brand of vehicles will consist of a range of personal mobility solutions.
