Ather Energy, the top producer of electric scooters in India, has just unveiled Ather Electric December, a month-long promotion that will provide customers, for the first time, financial perks, financing alternatives, and exchange programs. The program aims to speed up the adoption of EVs in the nation and give EV aficionados a seamless and hassle-free transition experience with value-added services.
Extended Warranty at ₹1
Regarding products, Ather is currently providing an Extended Battery Warranty worth 6,999 INR for just 1. With the help of this program, users can extend the manufacturer’s guarantee on the battery of their scooters by an extra two years, bringing the total warranty time to five years. The Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus will only be available to clients who purchase them in December 2022. This is an introductory and limited-time offer.
Finance Schemes
For its clients, Ather is launching a variety of “never seen before” incentives as of right now. In order to allow customers to acquire an Ather scooter, Ather has launched a first-ever financing plan in collaboration with IDFC Bank that offers a 48-month tenure. Customers will pay an EMI under this plan on par with the monthly (EMI + Petrol) cost of owning a standard 125cc petrol scooter. With a down payment of as little as 5%, an annual interest rate of 8.5%, no processing charge, and immediate loan approvals within 45 minutes, the EMIs are very manageable. Through its Retail Partners, Ather will let people trade in their gas scooters. The trade-in value can then be offset by the down payment on the Ather 450X. Customers will benefit from a 4,000 INR Exchange Value Bonus and instant on-the-spot appraisal.
Free Charging
Customers who purchase the 450X and 450 Plus this month will also get free access to Ather Grid through December 31, 2023. Customers may use charging stations across the nation and charge their vehicles for nothing thanks to Ather Grid’s free fast charging. At more than 700 Ather Grid locations throughout India, fast charging (1.5 km/min) is available without any hassle.
Ather Energy increased sales by 260% year over year in November of 2022 to 7234 units. The business opened a second production facility in Hosur, increasing capacity to 420,000 units while maintaining quality. Additionally, they launched a financing programme in collaboration with IDFC Bank that allows users to purchase the Ather 450X for an EMI of just INR 3,456.
