his move into Nepal coincides with the country’s growing interest in clean and sustainable mobility options, even though it’s a smaller market compared to neighboring giants like India and China. For Ather, it represents an opportunity to explore new markets and gauge product acceptance in diverse settings.

A Fruitful Partnership

Ather Energy is partnering with Vaidya Energy, a subsidiary of Vaidya’s Organization of Industries & Trading Houses (VOITH), a well-established industrial conglomerate in Nepal, to make this expansion possible. He sees Nepal’s automobile market as a microcosm of the global shift towards cleaner mobility choices. Ather’s ecosystem approach, including public fast charging infrastructure, has been a game-changer in India, and they aim to replicate this success in Nepal.
