When your net worth is over 23 billion USD (As of 2017 as reported by Forbes), you better roll in style. If you don’t know what that means, ask business tycoon Mukesh Ambani for some advice. Ambani, who sits at the helm of Reliance Industries Limited, a Fortune Global 500 and India’s second-most valuable company by market value, recently purchased five BMW X5 SUVs for the cops who are responsible for his safety. One of our colleagues who enjoys an occasional rides to Marine Drive spotted the caravan escorting a Bentley. He could not stop to take photographs though.
Ambani, who himself travels in ultra safe cars like the BMW 760 Li Security and the Mercedes Benz S Guard, gets Z+ security which means that he should be accompanied by 36 security personnel for his safety. Now we’re sure he wouldn’t want his Bentley or the Rolls Royce being escorted around by regular patrol cars used by the Police.
