1. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara Maruti’s first electric SUV will feature two battery pack options—49 kWh and 61 kWh—sourced from BYD. The smaller battery will produce 143 bhp, while the larger one will generate 173 bhp. The e-Vitara will offer an MIDC-rated range of over 500 km and will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and Tata Curvv EV.

2. Tata Harrier EV Tata’s popular SUV is going electric with multiple battery pack options and an AWD system. The Harrier EV is expected to deliver a maximum torque of 500 Nm and support both V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2C (vehicle-to-charge) functionalities. It will rival the Mahindra XUV.e8 and BYD Sealion 7.

3. Kia Carens EV The MPV is getting an electric version with a 42 kWh battery pack and a 135 bhp electric motor, sourced from the Hyundai Creta Electric. It will offer a range of over 350 km and will challenge the MG Windsor EV.

4. Volkswagen Golf GTI The hot hatch is finally making its way to India with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine producing 265 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. It will come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a front-wheel-drive system. The Golf GTI is claimed to do 0-100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and will go up against the Hyundai i20 N Line.

5. MG Cyberster This electric sports car boasts a 77 kWh battery, dual motors, and AWD, delivering 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and has a CLTC-rated range of 580 km. It will be the most affordable sports car in India.

6. Mahindra XUV3XO EV Mahindra’s compact electric SUV will offer multiple battery options and Level-2 ADAS. It will feature a front-axle-mounted electric motor generating 148 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. The SUV will compete with the Tata Nexon EV.

7. Nissan Magnite CNG Nissan is introducing a CNG variant of its popular subcompact SUV, providing better fuel efficiency. The Magnite CNG will rival the Tata Punch CNG and Hyundai Exter CNG.

8. MG M9 This electric MPV will take on the Kia Carnival, offering a 90 kWh battery and a range of 400 km. It will be positioned as a premium electric people mover.

9. Tata Altroz Facelift Tata’s premium hatchback is getting a midlife update with refreshed styling and new features. The facelifted Altroz will compete with the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno.

10. MG Windsor Long Range The MG Windsor EV is receiving an upgrade with a bigger battery pack, offering improved range and performance. The updated Windsor EV will continue to be sold alongside the existing car. The new car is expected to get a 50 kWh battery pack like the MG ZS EV.
