Mercedes-Benz recently launched the GLS 350 d in India with a price tag of Rs. 80.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The German luxury automobile manufacturer is also said to be working on the next generation E-Class Coupe for the international market since quite some time now.

Earlier spy images made it hard to decipher the body style, courtesy the false body panels. This time though, the panels come off making way for the camouflage that exposes more or less what seems to be the production body. One prominent change can be the missing B-pillar that could probably be replaced by a retractable side window. The posterior will benefit from wrap around tail lights.

What earlier spy images didn’t reveal  was the interior of this upcoming model. On the inside, a noteworthy change is the air vents that now sport a real cool turbine design. Looking at the instrument cluster, one can notice the conventional dual pod analogue dials divided by an LCD screen in between. The centre screen gives away the hint that the model is still some time away from its production specifications.

The aforementioned details gives a hint that the model in the spy image is likely the base variant and  the higher variants will receive fully digital instrument consoles. Reports suggest that the four passenger layout will arrive with the individual seat format.
