Ducati Scrambler has been caught testing!

Some new spy pics of the highly anticipated Ducati Scrambler have surfaced on the web world. These pics are courtesy Italian motorcycle blog siteInsella.it. The Ducati Scrambler test mule was spotted on the outskirts of Bologna.

It becomes evident from the new spy pics that the bike will feature an air-cooled v-twin engine. The new spy pics also bring to light the upcoming bike’s long tank and a flat-ish seat. Nothing surprising here, considering that the upcoming Ducati would be a true blue scrambler! It is also expected that the final product would feature a high-mounted level exhaust.

Ducati haven’t yet announced the release date for the upcoming model but it is highly like that the bike would bow in at the 2013 EICMA next month.

The Ducati Scrambler could go on sale in early 2014 and could very well be the next bike to be manufactured at the maker’s Bologna facility. While nothing much is known about the upcoming model’s tech specs, it is being expected that the bike borrow plenty from the Ducati Hypermotard and would sport a 821cc water-cooled v-twin.

Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the Ducati Scrambler.
