Salesforce and Ather Energy work together to transform customer experiences

For customers and retail partners, Salesforce, the market leader in CRM, has announced a partnership with Ather Energy, the largest maker of electric scooters in India. As Ather extends its retail footprint across the nation to meet the growing demand, Salesforce will be used to power its sales, service, and dealer management systems.

By engaging with customers at all touchpoints, including online, via mobile devices, social media, and on showroom floors, Salesforce will help Ather Energy digitally alter their customer journey while boosting the customer experience. A methodical, data-driven approach to lead management will aid in the execution of ambitious future growth strategies. Through primary and secondary sales, Ather personnel will manage relationships from client inquiries to post-delivery servicing with a single perspective of the consumer. Salesforce will also provide advanced dealer management systems to Ather’s retail partners, enhancing consumer experiences both offline and online across the nation.

Aether’s Growth

With presence in 74 cities and 91 Experience Centers, Ather Energy presently has a strong retail sales network across the nation. By March 2023, the business expects its retail footprint to reach 150 centres across 100 cities in India, including tier 1, 2, and 3 cities. Additionally, Ather Energy has more than 900 Ather Grids placed all throughout India and operates the largest fast-charging network for two-wheelers.

Between January and December 2022, Ather Energy sold 59,413 units, representing a 224 percent year-over-year rise.
In order to accommodate the nation’s increasing demand, Ather opened its second manufacturing facility in Hosur. The facility, which covers 300,000 square feet, will enable the company to meet the rising demand for its flagship scooters by boosting production capacity to 420,000 units annually in FY 2024 (April 2023–March 2024). The business also just released the Atherstack 5.0 software update, which added a number of new features and raised the bar for the riding experience. For the 450X and 450 plus, Ather has also added six new colours: Space Grey, Still White, Salt Green, True Red, Cosmic Black, and Lunar Grey.
