Mahindra has launched their first electric C-Segment SUV the XUV400 at an introductory price of ₹15.99 ex-showroom. The introductory prices will be limited to the first 5000 bookings which will commence on Jan 26, 2023.
Variants and Pricing
The Tata Nexon has been dominating the electric SUV segment since its launch. It was unopposed due to a lack of products from other OEMs. Mahindra unveiled the XUV400 last year and has finally launched the eSUV. It will be available in two variants EC and EL. The EC base variant will also have two charger options. The 3.3 kW charger will be provided as standard and a 7.2 kW charger can be availed at an additional cost of ₹50,000. The top-of-the-line EL variant will come with the 7.2 kW charger as standard.

Booking and Availability
The XUV400 can be booked starting the upcoming Republic Day. Certain dealerships already have the car on display and have started offering test drives. Mahindra says that they will start the deliveries for the EL variant in March and the EC variant will be handed over in the festive season of Diwali. The bookings will open phase-wise and the first phase will mark the bookings open in 34 cities.
Colours and Warranty
The Mahindra XUV400 will be available in five colour options namely, Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, and Infinity Blue with dual tone option of Satin Copper. All colours will have “electrifying copper” accents. It will also come with a standard warranty of 3 years / unlimited km and will additionally come with a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km (whichever is earlier) for the battery & motor.
