The 2015 Honda CBR150R has been spied undisguised.
Yeah, there’s a CBR150R on sale in India. Missed it? Its optimistic pricing blew potential customers away, and even the styling didn’t win too many hearts- it mimics the already slow selling CBR250R. The bike desperately needs a revamp and here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store for the ill-fated CBR150R in India.
New styling is a must, and the new CBR150R appears to borrow heavily from its bigger brother, the CBR300R. It features the 300’s edgy fairing running a twin headlamp setup- out goes the boring single headlamp setup. The exhaust seems to be all new but Honda seems to have downplayed with it – we’d prefer the current bike’s unit over this one. Invariably, the new bike will sport refreshed graphics and judging by initial impressions from the grainy photograph, it’ll feature a more sober sticker job.
Mechanical changes are unclear at the moment, though we believe that the CBR150R will continue to soldier on with the old engine- 149.4cc generating 18 PS of power and 12.66 Nm of torque, with a top speed being rated at 134 km/hr. Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India really needs to pull their socks up as far as the CBR 150R and the 250R models go- what with competition getting stronger in the form the upcoming Yamaha R15 Version 3 and the Pulsar 200SS looming large.

The twin spar frame is also out i guess. twin down tube chassis should be in place to reduce cost probably..
