We have been reporting in detail about the recently unveiled KTM 390 Duke that is headed our way. The new Katoom, which was unveiled at EICMA, Milan, gets an ABS as a standard feature. This is thanks to the new bike norms at Europe. Now, we get to know that the KTM 125 Duke and KTM 200 Duke, both of which are manufactured in India, get ABS for the model year 2013. We have also been told by our friends at KTM-Bajaj that the KTM 200 Duke ABS will be launched in India before the big brother 390 is introduced to our rapidly growing bike market.
This means that the 200 would become the second 200-250cc Indian performance bike to get the ABS option (the first is the baby CBR).
The ABS on the KTM 200 Duke is courtesy German biggie Bosch and can be turned ON/OFF as per the rider’s preference. Easily expect the ABS version to be almost 25k costlier than the standard variant.
