22-year old Indian lad designs a Ferrari; calls it the Zenyatta

Aritra Das, 22 years of age, with no formal design education whatsoever, has designed a Ferrari, and he calls its the Zenyatta. Here’s what he has to say about his creation:

Hello, this is Aritra Das, a 22 y.o. boy from India. This is my imagination of a Ferrari mega-car with a bi-turbo gasoline engine coupled with electric motors, providing a maximum power of above 1400hp. It also has the F1 derived energy regenerative system, that can be used to give the car acceleration boosts. Together with the dual turbochargers, hybrid motor and the kinetic energy boosters, this car can have acceleration capabilities like no other production terrestrial vehicle on the planet! Presenting to all of you my wild fantasy: “The Ferrari Zenyatta”.

Although the specifications can be left to anybody’s fancy, the overall design has turned out to be a scrumptious little thing, given the designer’s never seen design school yet. It’s 458-sized, got a mid-mounted engine, two seats and all the trappings of a contemporary Ferrari road car. It’s wide, hunkered down, has little winglets sticking out from the bodywork, gets doors that open like wings and most importantly, looks decidedly exotic.

Unlike the front end with its L-shaped headlamps and familiar lines, the rear end moves away from the Ferrari scheme of things, feauturing horizontal tail lamps, and as many as six exhausts. The interiors are off a 458, and the lines get a little confused by the time they reach the rear wheels, but that’s just nit-picking. Well done kid!
