Back in December 2016, we had reported about the arrival date of the 2017 KTM 390 Duke and its expected price. In latest updates, KTM / Bajaj Auto has confirmed the launch date of the new 2017 KTM range for the Indian market, scheduled to take place on February 23, 2017. Moreover, as reported earlier, the new 2017 390 Duke will be priced at approximately INR 15,000-20,000 over the outgoing model. So expect the ex-showroom Delhi prices for the 2017 390 Duke to hover around INR 2.10-2.15 lakh.
There have been a lot of speculations about the arrival of the new 2017 200 Duke in the Indian market but the invite hints that KTM will launch the “all-new KTM Duke Range.” Do note that the 200 Duke that is displayed on KTM India’s official website is still the current generation model instead of the 2017 variant.
What’s new for 2017? Almost everything!
For 2017, the 390 Duke gets an all new design and an extended list of features which include the new split LED headlight with LED daytime running lights that represents the face of the updated Duke family, a full-colour TFT digital instrument cluster, a redesigned rider and pillion seat and a larger 13.4-litre steel fuel tank.
Mechanically, the motorcycle will draw power from a 373.2cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine which is now Euro 4 complaint without any loss in performance. KTM claims that putting the power to the ground is now smoother and more controllable than before thanks to the new ride-by-wire throttle.
