Hi

I am looking for a car/suv for my father.

My final options

1) honda city petrol automatic top model

2) Ford ecosport s (top model)

3) Tata Harrier

Though there are few concerns. In Honda city a) have heard Digipad is not good- it doesn’t have Android auto /Apple car play and it’s mirror link is also not good… b)  my father has concerns about city’s ground clearance

Ford ecosport  top model has almost everything i believe,  just that spacewise city is much better,  it doesn’t come with rear ac and no automatic option.

Tata harrier is completely new though definitely great option but Tata’s credibility and service not great at all, no automatic for now and have heard the sound is quite high at high rpms.

Please suggest…

Go for the Ford Ecosport. It’s a well built, fun, yet frugal car which is low on maintenance too

Tata Harrier is one of the best option nowadays in market. When concerned about Honda City top model, the car falls in the category of sedan not SUV. The premium SUV that you need to go for is Tata Harrier or Jeep Compass.

There are various successful SUVs in Indian market and you can go anyone of them. As per your price range Tata Harrier & Jeep Compass are best among all. However Tata Harrier is more preferred over Jeep Compass as well. The SUV is really one of the finest creation from Tata.
