How did they manage to reduce vibrations in the motor without fiddling around with it? Exhaust?

Does the ride-by-wire make any difference as compared to the earlier bikes?

I wish they have worked on eliminating/ reducing the vibes while trundling around in lower gears in traffic. The 390 feels amazing at rushing RPMs…low down performance is what hampers the overall experience.

Yes, the vibrations have been reduced. It’s primarily owing to the fuelling, which in turn is now controlled through the ride by wire system. The bike feels smoother for sure.

Crisper, sharper throttle response on the new RC390 is one of the biggest changes you will experience, and this has been achieved with the ride-by-wire system only.

If I am not wrong, They also added CAN bus. Eventhough it sounds little flashy for a biker (why we need a generic communication protocol on a relatively smaller bike?) including me, future will be good. Mechanics can diagnose much more easily and precisely for the troubles especially for modern equipments, they can give a firmware update for better optimization after long term feedback, will reduce the wiring/no need to have extra complicated wiring for updating features related to it, they can even implement many tech features very easily. Digital instrumentation all the way!!
