The Maruti Ertiga isn’t the only MPV that will be sold in various markets with a new badge. General Motors and Nissan recently entered an agreement which allows Chevrolet to rebadge the NV200 as the City Express and to it in the U.S. and in Canada.
The Nissan NV200 will be renamed to Chevrolet City Express and will look the similar to the NV200. However, the Chevy City Express will sport an updated front fascia that will get a typical Chevrolet grille and of course, bow tie badges.
The Chevrolet City Express will benefit from a fold-down front passenger seat, an optional navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity and 3,474 liters of cargo space. The new Chevrolet City Express is expected to be powered by a 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol engine that has a max power output of 131 bhp and a peak torque figure of 188 Nm. The new Chevrolet City Express will go on sale in US in a few months of time.
