Skoda has introduced a new limited edition variant of the Fabia hatchback in German car market. Christened as the Skoda Fabia Cool Young Spirit, the new variant of the Fabia gets a long name and a host of mechanical updates.
The car also comes with an attractive sticker price that makes it cheaper than similarly equipped standard variant by as much as €2,250. Only 1000 units of the Skoda Fabia Cool Young Spirit (phew!) will be ever made and it remains to be seen if Skoda incorporates the mechanical changes to the standard variant in near future.
The major mechanical change to the car is a sportier suspension with stiffer dampers settings, and a lowered ride height,
The set of visual changes to the car includes 17” alloy wheels, tinted rear windows and tinted rear windshield.
Standard features on the Skoda Fabia Cool Young Spirit include air conditioning, power windows, central locking, fog lights with integrated daytime running lights and a Swing audio system.
The Skoda Fabia Cool Young Spirit goes on sale with three paint options- Sea Blue, Cost-ocean Blue and Green Pistaccio.
Powering the special edition of the Fabia is a 1.2 litre TSI turbo petrol engine with 86 PS of max power. The engine boasts of a fuel economy figure of 19.23 kmpl in German driving cycle.
The Fabia Cool Young Spirit goes on sale for a price of €15,429. Chances of Skoda India bringing this variant to our country are slim.
