Here’s what we reported earlier:

We are sorry! We had confirmed some time back that Yamaha is going to launch three new bikes before October 2010, and guess what, they have! However, the Fazer 250 we talked about, is not mentioned anywhere. What Yamaha has launched instead is the SZ 150 that we confirmed more than once, a variant of the SZ 150 called the ‘SZ-X’ and a 123cc engined version of the YBR, called the YBR125.

All the three bikes were unveiled today in Delhi by Yamaha’s brand ambassador John Abraham. India Yamaha Motors CEO and Managing Director Yukimine Tsuji told the attendees, “The launch of these three bikes are in line with Yamaha’s true commitment to provide world class product to its customers. We are confident that these bikes will capture the imagination of the whole generation of bikers who are looking for something extra,”  These bike will be priced in the range of Rs. 47,000 to Rs. 52,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), with the YBR125 being the cheapest of this lot and the SZ-X being the one priced at Rs. 52,000. Pictures and tech specs coming soon…
