UNVEILED: Mercedes releases first image of 2013 G Class

Without much of a fan fare, German car biggie Mercedes recently dished out the first image of the 2013 G-Class. The car model can be seen sporting new LED daytime running lights, new rear view mirrors and relocated front fender vents. While nothing much happens with the exteriors and the car continues to come with a boxy styling, the interiors are supposed to get a host of new features with the introduction of an instrument cluster, a revised center stack and an updated steering wheel. The list certainly doesn’t ends here as the car also gets a new gear knob and an upgraded COMAND system. The car will come with a set of engine option that are being carried forward from the current model. The list of motor includes the twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 with 435 PS-516 lb-ft and 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine with 612 PS- 1,000 Nm in the G65 AMG. The 2013 Mercedes G-Class should be unveiled by the end of April.

  1. A diesel car at that price is trouble no matter how tempting it may be. Besides After Sale services ain't all that good either.
