One of the world’s most recognized and best selling family sedans, the 2016 Honda Accord has been spied in its new avatar without any camouflage. While there are fewer chances of this new model coming our way, the 2016 Honda Accord will be offered in 4-cylinder Sport, V6 and V6 touring variants in the U.S.
In terms of styling updates, the 2016 Accord looks more athletic in comparison to the outgoing model, courtesy of a large new slab of chrome in the grille, new bumpers, headlights and multi-element tail-lights. Acura style LED headlights will make an appearance on the touring model. What’s also new is the 5-spoke alloy wheel design. Mechanically, the V6 motor powering this new Accord will be updated to ensure increased efficiency. It will most likely adopt direct fuel injection and come mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Expected to make near about 280 horses and 355 Nm of twist, the engine will offer better response across the rev range while it still returns a modest economy figure.
