Kawasaki Z250 Launched in Indonesia. Will it come to India?

Kawasaki-Z250

The Indonesian two wheeler market recently got the naked version of 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 sportsbike.

Christened as the Kawasaki Z250, the 250cc naked draws inspiration from the bigger Z800 street fighter. The 2013 Kawasaki Z250 gets the twin cylinder, 250cc engine from the Ninja 250R. While the power figures of the Z250’s engine haven’t been revealed yet, this parallel twin liquid cooled engine has a peak power of 33Bhp and peak torque of 22Nm in the Ninja 250.

The 2013 Kawasaki Z250 also shares its frame, instrumentation console, telescopic front forks and the rear monoshock with the Ninja 250. The Z250 will be available in three colours- White, Black and Red.

It isn’t known if the Z250 is headed our way but the upcoming launch of the KTM Duke 390 might just compel Kawasaki to bring the Z250 to our country. The Kawasaki Z250 is priced at 48.5 Million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 2.64 lakhs) in Indonesian market.
