Hyundai to make Reverse Parking Camera a standard feature on base variant of Verna sedan

The latest generation of Verna is one of the few Hyundais that I like. While an almost dead steering and a ‘not so Japanese’ petrol mill does not make the car as fun to drive as a Honda City, this Korean car makes for a good family car. The top of the line Verna SX variants are loaded to gills and come with features like Reverse Parking Camera. Now, the good news is that Hyundai has decided to make this camera a standard feature on all variants of the car, including the base variant that will now be called as Verna EX.

Thanks to the recent development, Verna seems to be all set to become the first car in its segment to offer this feature as a standard fitment. This move is to inject some ‘premium-ness’ into the car and to push the sales of the well priced base model. Talking about the pricing, it is being expected that the car might become dearer by INR 15000 soon.
