Chairman of TVS Motor Company receives honorary doctorate from the University of Warwick

The University of Warwick in the United Kingdom has awarded Sir Ralf Speth, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, an Honorary Doctorate in Science (Doctor of Science, honoris causa). Baroness Catherine Ashton of Upholland, chancellor of the University of Warwick, awarded the honorary degree.

Sir Ralf is a Fellow of the Royal Society as well as the Royal Academy of Engineering. He is an honorary professor at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) and has worked closely with the company ever since he earned his engineering PhD there in 2008 under the visionary guidance of Lord Bhattacharyya, a former WMG chairman. Sir Ralf is a brilliant engineer with extensive knowledge of the automotive sector worldwide. He has held executive positions with a number of well-known automotive and industrial giants, including Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Ford, Tata Motors, and The Linde Group. He was made an Additional Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and an Honorary Knight Commander of the British Empire.

Sir Ralf holds an engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim in Germany and a PhD in engineering from the University of Warwick in mechanical engineering and business administration.

Also over 50,000 units of TVS iQube sold
