Car burglar and wannabe car lover caught by Pune police

This really is so not happening. For someone like me, who has always been fascinated by cars n bikes, cutting down on other expenses for that can of fully synthetic or an aftermarket performance part is quite normal. However, Parvez Hanif Shaikh and his friends took a very different approach to realize their love for cars. Shaikh (34), Amol Vishwas Ovhal (30) and Vijay Duttatray Koli (38) were recently nabbed by cops in Chinchwad area. These three also have a few other legal cases filed against them. As per police, Shaikh bought a used Honda City from the lakhs he and his friends had snatched from a jewellery shop.

A crime branch officer said, “He told us that ‘mera dream tha ki mein acche gadi me gumo. To isliye maine chori ki aur gadi garidi’ (I used to steal to fulfil my dream to own a costly car).”ACP (crime) AD Shinde said, “On March 25, a team led by senior police inspector Mohan Vidhate found them in Chinchwad area. They were planning to loot a Walhekarwadi-based jewellery shop.”

Needless of what Shaikh might have to say, a guy like him is an insult to this society and we certainly do not feel that he really loves cars. Car lovers earn their machines and not pilfer them.
