Recently, at the ongoing Auto Expo, we covered a wide range of automobile and auto component manufacturers. We had the  ‘soon to be launched’  Peugeot line up to the little known ICML Rhino. What is conspicuous by its absence are the Fiat vehicles. However, all Italian car fans recently got the amazing news of Fiat India introducing India’s first Fiat Caffe on 6th January 2012. The Caffe is located at Tolstoy Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Now, we had reported about this development and talked that the Caffe is a nice location to sample the ‘Fiat culture’ and some amazing lavazza. Also, one can book a test drive of Punto and Linea at the location or purchase some Fiat branded merchandise.

First Impression of Fiat Caffe on

Today, on a cloudy Sunday morning at Delhi, the car aficionado that I would like to feel that I am, I decided to get a first hand experience of the first of its kind promotional exercise. What made this even better was the fact that I decided to take some good company along for a cup of coffee. Now, the moment we stepped inside the newly opened cafe, we were greeted by a very professional staff. After exchanging a few pleasantries, I decided to take a tour of the much publicized location. The cafe has a Linea sedan, Punto hatchback and a Fiat branded bicycle (!!) showcased at the very center of the place. The interior has been done up in Fiat colors (white and red) and has a collection of really interesting furniture. All this results into a pleasant ambiance. Also, the cafe has a coffee bar that stocks some really premium beans and the cafe sports a collection of international auto magazines and books to enable the visitor to browse thru some facts while sipping the dosage of jamocha.

For all those who are in Delhi, this has to be on the top of the ‘places to visit’ list. And a good news for those who are based in and around Pune. The popular Italian manufacturer will soon be launching Fiat Caffe in Pune and that means India should become the only nation to boast of two Fiat Caffes.
