Chevrolet Cruze modified to Camaro

Chevrolet Cruze Visits A Chop Shop, Returns As A Camaro

The guys at Motormind Design always have a new trick up their sleeve. After giving the previous generation Fortuner an aftermarket refresh, the Bengaluru based modification company took up the mod job of a Chevrolet Cruze. The result of their 6 month long work is what you see in the images here, a Chevrolet Cruze modified to look like the Camaro.

Motormind claims that the model is not a replica but rather an inspiration from the American muscle car. Visual updates to the model includes all new bumpers on the front and rear, custom LED DRLs, headlamps, tail lights and turn indicators, all of which are produced in-house. Also on offer are scissor doors, hood scoop, front lip spoiler, wide body kit with flared wheel arches, side skirts, rear diffuser, twin exhaust setup, tail gate mounted spoiler and 19 inch aftermarket  alloy wheels finished in gloss black.

Inside, the Chevrolet Camaro inspired Cruze greets you with a similar red and black theme while various parts such as the dashboard trim, steering wheel trim, door pipe trims, centre console and gear lever have been given a matte red finish. The dual tone seats even get contrast red stitching and the company’s logo.

Updates to the engine specifications, if any, remain unknown and hence it can be safe to assume that the model is still powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine. This motor is capable of producing 166 PS of power at 3800 rpm and 360 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. Transmission options include a six speed manual unit and a six speed automatic unit, with the latter seen in this Cruze inspired Camaro.
