Maruti Suzuki A-Star Aktiv Launched in Indian Market

While the Suzuki A-Star facelift that was recently launched in Chinese car market hasn’t made it to us, Maruti Suzuki today launched a limited edition of their Maruti A-Star. Christened as the A-Star Aktiv, the new variant of the car is available only in VXI and VXI AT trim level.

It may be noted that limited editions of regular cars have always been popular in our car market and the A-Star Aktiv might very well be successful in bringing in some customers for the low selling hatchback.

The A-Star Aktiv is gets body decals, red ORVMs, a red rear spoiler, red fog lamp housing, dash of read on the front grille, blacked out B Pillars and of course, Aktiv badges.

The interiors of the A-Star Aktiv come draped in white and red and the limited edition variant gets keyless entry feature.

The A-Star Aktiv commands a premium of INR 14,990 over VXI and VXI-AT trim levels.

  1. Its such a joke/sorrow that limited editions in India means stupid cosmetic upgrades that can be done in the local market at a cheaper price.

  2. Looks like something with a target painted on it. And you have to pay more for it too. What a joke.
