The Mahindra Marazzo is a 7-seater MPV that has been styled by Italian design house Pininfarina. A smart looking vehicle which also drives well, it is only offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Pricing wise, it is placed between the Ertiga and the Innova, however, space on the inside is at par with the more expensive Toyota.
With its shark-inspired design, the Mahindra Marazzo looks modern and chic. Up front, it gets these shark tooth inserts in its grille, which is flanked by like twin-chambered projector headlamps. The Marazzo also flaunts its daytime running LED lights which are placed to act as an eyebrow to the Fog Lamps. Clever designing hides the mass of this vehicle, although it is nearly identical in proportions to the Toyota Innova. Nicely designed Outer Rear View Mirrors are embedded with Entry and Exit assistance lights. The ORVMs are power foldable with the Side Turn indicators embedded in the assembly. The Door handles are finished in chrome and there's plenty of glass area which makes the cabin feel fresh and airy. At the back, the Mahindra Marazzo's tail-lights too take inspiration from a Shark. There's a spoiler which caps the tail gate and features an integrated Stop lamp.
Inside the cabin, the Mahindra Marazzo features bits which are finished in a combination of black, beige and ivory white. The dashboard of the Marazzo is Dual toned with beige at the bottom and Glossy Piano Black on the top. The good looking and information-rich instrument cluster is lit in purple and gets a multi-information display. The Mahindra Marazzo gets a fully-automatic temperature control system with a unique aircraft-like design for the roof-mounted rear vents. The infotainment system is a 7" touchscreen which is Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay compliant.
The Steering wheel gets controls for audio, telephony and cruise control. The Driver Seat is 8-way Adjustable and the parking brake gets a unique Aircraft-Inspired Pull Back lever. The 2nd Row has optional Captain Seats (2 occupants) and Bench Seats ( 3 occupants ), which makes the Marazzo an 8 or a 7-seater, according to the option you tick. Entry to the third row is easy, where the 2nd row seats tumble down at the touch of a lever. For the Marazzo, Mahindra has introduced First-In Class 2nd Row Sunshades, first-In-Segment Tambour Doors for the cup holder, and ample storage spaces in the door panels.
The leatherette Seats are well designed and have been cushioned ideally for comfort. The cabin is a quiet place, even on the move, as a lot of engineering has gone behind achieving it. throughout. With the second-row seats folded, boot space goes up to a whopping 1055 Litres.
In terms of safety, the Mahindra Marazzo ticks basics like Dual Airbags in the Front and Seat Belts for all. The Marazzo is developed with Crumple Zones and Side Impact Beams, for proper absorption and distribution of impact forces. The Marazzo gets disc brakes for all its four wheels which are governed by an Anti-lock System and EBD on all the Variants (M2, M4, M6 and M8 ). The Marazzo also features Cornering Lamps which activate as soon as the driver turns the Steering Wheel.
The Marazzo is Powered by a D15 1.5 Litre Diesel Engine that revs and delivers 121Hp @ 3500 Rpm. It produces a Max. Torque of 300Nm @ 1750-2500Rpm. It has 6-Speed Manual Transmission with is not the case with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, And is having a fuel capacity up to 45 Litres. It delivers the smooth performance as Mahindra claims it, Provided with Heavy Duty Aluminium Suspensions at the Front, makes it light weighted and well controlled from the Cockpit. The Power Is delivered to the Front wheels as it is a Front Wheel Drive.

After the launch of the much anticipated Mahindra Marazzo, we drove the car out on the open roads. We took a one shot video showcasing the car, which has us mighty impressed. Everything from the design, the engine and the space inside is great. There maybe some shortcomings too but nothing worth complaining about.
