Back in December of 2015, one of the prime Lamborghini dealership in Delhi spilled the beans and teased the much awaited Huracan Spyder. The folks at the dealership shared a photograph of the partly covered Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 through their social media channel. The news broke out a couple of months after its unveiling at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 is in the news again. After almost five months of the teaser by a Delhi dealership, Lamborghini India is all set to official launch the supercar in the country on 5 May 2016 in Mumbai. The launch event will also witness the inauguration of the Lamborghini Mumbai showroom.
The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 will carry forward the 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated engine that powers the Huracan Coupe. The V10 unit will fire out 610 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque with kicked in at 6,500 rpm for the Huracan Spyder. The super will be capable of doing the 0-100kmph in about 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 324kmph.
The engine is also fitted with some latest technical updates, including the ‘cylinder-on-demand’ function combined with a ‘stop-start’ system. The supercar maker also states that the Huracan Spyder will roll out with an updated setup for the electronically controlled all-wheel drive system. As mentioned, the supercar and its company’s Mumbai showroom will be launched and inaugurated in the country in the first week of the next month.
