Hyundai and Bisimoto Engineering have announced plans to jointly create a specially-modified Genesis Coupe for SEMA.

Described as a street car with the “outrageous power of a no-holds-barred racer,” this one-off model will be wearing an Electric Blue exterior with an ARK hood. Also, a carbon fiber decklid spoiler and 20-inch aluminum wheels with Toyo R888 R-Compound tires add to the sportiness. The racing theme continues in the cabin as the model will be outfitted with a roll cage, Buddy Club racing seats and a Racepack IQ3 digital dash.

Under the hood, this Genesis Coupe is equipped with the 3.8-liter Lambda V6 engine having twin Turbonetics turbochargers, steel connecting rods, Arias forged pistons, upgraded fuel injectors and a Magnafuel 750 fuel pump. This powertrain will also have custom ignition coils, a Spearco intercooler and a Burns stainless exhaust system. These high performance modifications to the engine will enable it to produce a whopping 1000 bhp.

To compliment the huge 1000 bhp figure, interior modifications like racing seats and harness, Racepack IQ3 dash, Bisimoto oil cap, reservoir socks, dry cell battery, mil-spec harness and G&J braided lines have also been added. The chassis gets a roll cage, progress coilover suspension and anti-roll bars, Drive Shaft Shop 5.9 Axles and driveshaft.

According to Bisimoto Engineering owner Bisi Ezerioha, “The Genesis Coupe 3.8-liter Lambda engine is a thoroughly robust powerplant, and Bisimoto Engineering is excited to develop it to its full potential for the rigors of competitive motorsport.”

We hope Hyundai atleast launches the Genesis in India .
