The Hyundai HCD-14 is all set to debut at the upcoming 2013 Detroit Auto Show and the Koream carmaker has now published a teaser image of the new concept car.
The HCD-14 will offer a sneak peak of the Hyundai/Kia luxury cars that are currently being planned by the auto giant. These cars will take the battle straight to well established Germans and British luxury car makers.
The new Hyundais will be styled accordingly to the new Storm Edge design language and will reek of sophistication and richness.
HCD is the abbreviation for Hyundai California Design and the HCD-14 looks ready to take on the Audi A7 and the Mercedes CLS.
Hyundai recently said that the HCD-14 Concept will hint at the design of future premium vehicle from Hyundai.
There is also a section of international media that says that the HCD-14 might spawn the new Genesis and could be powered by a twin-turbo V6 mated to a new 10-speed automatic ‘box.
