This machine has been enjoying a successful run, not in our market but even in international markets. However, TVS believes that it can get pull in many more customers with a marginal drop in price. This has been made possible by removing the front disc brake setup, replacing it with a conventional drum unit and some more changes. Reports suggest that this model also misses out on the engine kill switch, under seat light and USB charger, for a more significant change in price. However, TVS continues to offer CBS technology, which essentially takes care of both front and rear brakes when you apply just one. Apart from these changes, the Ntorq remains the same mechanically and cosmetics too, shall remain unchanged. Drawing power from a 124.8cc, single-cylinder motor which uses a three-valve head, the Ntorq produces 9.5 hp and 10.5 Nm of torque. Unlike most scooters, the Ntorq gets proper telescopic suspension up front and a gas charged shockup at the rear, which is set a bit towards the firmer side.
