Mahindra is working on quite a few upcoming products such as the TUV300 Plus, New 2018 XUV500 facelift, U321 MPV and the Sssangyong Tivoli based compact SUV. Recent images reveal the SUV ahead of its launch that is expected in January 2018. These new exclusive images shared by Motoroids reader and fan Vinoth Venkataramanujam reveal the new design of the twin barrel headlamp along with slightly teaked tail-lamps, as well as the contours of the bumpers up front and at the rear. The major changes are on the front of the vehicle, which is expected to get a brand new, audi-like grille. The headlamps and the fog lamps on the car have also been redesigned. The front bumper now gets redesigned, and so does the rear bumper with changes made to the tail-lamps as well. The alloy wheels are also expected to get a new design. The camouflaged test mule has alloy wheels withgunmetal finish, hinting that it could be offered on the facelift.
New 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift Engine and Performance
The 2018 XUV500 Facelift is expected to get an updated 2.2 liter mHawk turbocharged diesel engine with increased power and torque, and resultantly better performance. The new output figures for the engine are expected to be rated at 170 hp and 400 Nm, which would be a significant increase from the current 140 hp and 330 Nm figures.
