Moto Guzzi is aiming to bring back the original look of the adventure motorcycles which started the cult of off-road touring. The Moto Guzzi V85 Adventure Tourer Concept was unveiled at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show and we couldn’t stop ourselves from remembering the earlier generation models of the BMW GS motorcycles.
The V85, in Moto Guzzi’s own words, “Is dedicated to all those bikers who like to point their finger on the map and leave without stopping when the asphalt ends.”
It’s a meeting point between technology and modern features and is aimed to define the first Classic Enduro dedicated to tourism. Apart from the retro styling, it also receives a fully digital instrumentation and DRL LED lights. It’s built around a steel-tube frame, which utilizes the anchorage of the engine to create a rigid structure. Mechanically, The engine is a two-cylinder 90° transverse air-cooled 850cc which has 80 HP of maximum power. It comes with a shaft-drive system.
We’re sure people who want a combination of technology and modern features would appreciate the motorcycle. We’re eagerly awaiting to see the production spec model and hope it isn’t too different from the concept.
