Ducati India has launched the Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 in India, and priced it at Rs 8.52 lakh ex-showroom. The Scrambler Mach 2.0 features a paint scheme which has been created by by renowned Californian designer Roland Sands. The colours on the new motorcycle are meant to evoke evoke the typical West Coast style of the ’70s.
Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 Design and Style
Based on tyhe very popular Scrambler platform, the Mach 2.0 is Roland Sands’ expression of what a motorcycle that embodies the character and culture of the 70’s California should look like. It’s a sleek machine, with low-slung tapered aluminium handlebars. The Mach 2.0 also features a low variable cross-section aluminium handlebar, a dedicated Flat Track Pro seat, black exhaust and cylinder head covers, plus Café Racer-style brushed cooling fins.
the Mach 2.o drawn it’s inspiration from a 1965 Ducati, which was called the Mach 1 250. It was a classic of its day that mounted the same engine as the Scrambler 250 of the time. The Mach 2.0 derives its name from the classic, where the literal meaning of the word Mach is a unit for supersonic speeds.
Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 Engine and Specs
The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is powered by a Euro 4 compliant 803 cc twin-cylinder Desmodue engine. This engine delivers 73 hp of peak power at 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. The engine has been tuned to favour smooth running and fluid acceleration throughout the rev range.

The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 is priced at INR 8,52,000 (ex-showroom India) and is available for delivery across all seven Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Kochi.

This year two more versions join the Land of Joy: The Scrambler Desert Sled, a version that draws its inspiration from the off-road bikes that, back in the ’60s and ’70s, made US motorcycling history, and the Café Racer, the Scrambler interpretation of the legendary ’60s bikes that triggered a motorcycling revolution.
