BMW X7 40i M Sport ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ Launched

BMW India has launched the ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ of the X7 40i M Sport. This exclusive version of the X7 will celebrate 50 years of BMW M GmbH and will be locally produced at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. It will be available in petrol variant. This limited edition Bespoke is priced at ₹1,20,50,000 and the bookings are also open.

The performance and supremacy of the BMW M and the Luxury of X range will be seen perfectly combined in this  ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ of the X7 40i M Sport. Providing a luxurious ride this edition will also offer agile driving and spaciousness of a sports activity vehicle. This edition X7 comes with a bunch of design updates and making it a ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ is the M badging at the front, and rear followed by the M badging on hub caps. It also gets gloss black accents in many parts like the kidney grille and brake calipers in contrast with the 21-inch alloy wheels in a black shade. The company is also offering additional M accessories pack which will offer  Alcantara finished steering wheel, key fob, and carbon-fiber finished wing mirror caps. This  X7 40i M Sport will be available in two colour options, Mineral White and Carbon Black.

The interior of the ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ of the X7 40i M Sport comes with attractive changes like glass inserts on the gear selector, iDrive control knob, the audio control button, and the start/stop button. The tech on this limited edition is the same as the standard X7 including BMW ConnectedDrive technologies with a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and infotainment system, five-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and two 10.2-inch touchscreens infotainment screens for rear passengers, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

Just like the Tech the Powertrain and specifications of this X7 40i M Sport remain the same. Delivering the power here is the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 340 hp and 450 nm of peak torque at 1,500 – 5,200 rpm. The engine comes mated with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The car can run from 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The safety features include driver assistance systems like Parking Assistant Plus with Surround View Camera, Reversing Assistant, six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting and integrated emergency spare wheel under the load floor.
