The Bajaj Pulsar 200NS will be back next year with a new heart. Indian Autos Blog reports that the Naked Sport will mark its return with the fuel injected engine from the RS200, apart from a new set of stickers.

Bajaj had restricted supplies of the 200NS in mid-2015 to make way for the RS200 and the AS200. When phased out, the motorcycle was powered by a single-cylinder, four-stroke, 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, carburettor equipped engine with triple spark-ignition, good for 23.52 PS at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The very same engine does duty on the AS200.

When the NS is bought back, it’ll be powered by the fuel injected version of the same engine, which also powers the Pulsar RS200, where its tuned to produce 24.5 PS at 9,750 and 18.6 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The 200NS is already sold in Turkey with a detuned derivative of the updated engine. The NS’s return will complete the Bajaj trio of Adventure Sport, Race Sport and Naked Sport models.

The reports also adds that the new 200NS will sport a new set of dual tone graphics, while the Pulsar badge will be repositioned a tad. The new Bajaj 200NS is expected to be launched in early-2016, but not at the Auto Expo, where Bajaj won’t be participating this time.
