A sedan which is the topmost expression of luxury on wheels, the Mercedes-Maybach S650 has been launched in India at the 2018 Auto Expo. At an asking price of INR 2.73 Crore, we won’t tell you about all the luxuries and opulence which has been crammed inside. However, we’ll tell you that with this super saloon will see the first introduction of EU6 tech by Mercedes-Benz in a petrol vehicle.
The motor is a V12 M engine which is capable of 630 hp and a colossal 1000 Nm of torque. The S 650 also gets radar-based driving assistance systems, which may or may not work in India. Illumination is courtesy of a new triple-torch design Multibeam LED headlamps with an ultra range high beam.
The bumpers at both ends are new, the car gets next-gen telematics, Merc’s magic body control, magic sky control and new LED tail lights. There are also 2×2 seats which are optionally available with folding tables.
