Enough has already been speculated about the production version of the Japanese car maker Suzuki’s S Cross concept. Now, it has emerged that the production model based on the Suzuki S-Cross concept, the much publicized Suzuki C segment crossover concept, will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that will be held from March 5 to March 17.

The production spec Suzuki S-Cross will feature a new design language and gets the quintessential LED treatment to the headlamps. Other modern bits that car features are trafficators on Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVM), a quarter glass at the A pillar, a sump guard for infusing a rugged look, plastic cladding on wheel arches & side skirts and a few bits of chrome.

The Japanese auto group has now published two photographs and a video clipping that have been assigned to be the tease the car before its Geneva debut.

Suzuki says that the production spec S Cross has a “roomy interior” and has “one of the largest luggage areas in its class.” Suzuki has further said that the upcoming car’s styling package complements the “excellent handling and driving enjoyment”.

While the teaser video doesn’t show the whole car at any instance, it does focus on the headlights, the beltline, the off-road package and the rear quarter glass.

It is being said that the S-Cross concept will not be spawning the next generation of SX4. Instead, the production spec S-Cross will be positioned above both the SX4 and the production spec XA Alpha.  Powering the S-Cross might be the Fiat sourced 1.6 litres Multjet and the1.4L K Series motor that is seen on the Ertiga MPV.

Stay tuned for more details on the production spec 2014 Suzuki S-Cross.
