What we have here is a batch of spy pics of the next generation Ssangyong Rodius.
The Ssangyong Rodius, which was launched 2004, is a spacious MPV with huge proportions. The current Ssangyong Rodius has been (in)famous for its styling and the car is responsible for bringing a fair amount of criticism to the Korean auto maker.
The styling of the next generation Rodius seems to be a breath of fresh air on comparison with the current model. Unlike the current generation, the upcoming Rodius is far from being an eyesore.
The front fascia gets gigantic headlamps, an intimidating grill and a small air dam. The rear end is far from being bland and gets stylish tail lamps and integrated reflectors on the bumper.
On the inside, the car gets a 4 spoke steering wheel, better dashboard layout and a large multimedia screen.
The new Rodius is most likely to use the same 2.0 litre, 155 bhp oil burner that powers the Korando and the Actyon.
The 2014 Ssangyong Rodius will be unveiled in late 2013/early 2014 and might come to India to battle it out against the recently launched Nissan Evaila.
