Volvo India launched the 2017 V40 and the V40 Cross Country along with the 3S facility in Kochi – Kerala Volvo. The V40 now comes with the famous Thor’s Hammer headlights. Thor’s hammer headlights cue distinct Volvo design and is currently in the 90s Cluster (Volvo XC90 & Volvo S90). The V40 range comes standard with a Pedestrian Airbag, an industry first.
The 2017 Volvo V40 and V40 Cross Country now get the Full-LED Thor’s Hammer headlamp cluster, a new waterfall design grille with the large Ironmark (like the XC90 & S90. The interiors come with 3 different leather trims for the V40 and 5 leather trims for the V40 Cross Country including dual-tone. A new set of wheel design for both models is also on offer.
The refreshed V40 and V40 Cross Country receive safety features such as pedestrian airbag (world-first), safety cage, 2-stage front airbags with driver knee bag, pretensioners for front seats, dynamic stability and traction control, emergency brake assist with ABS, side impact protection and whiplash protection. The V40 and V40 Cross Country come with the sub 2L diesel engine that produces 150 hp and 320 Nm torque. This engine comes mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission.
The Volvo V40 and V40 Cross Country come equipped with features such as full LED headlamps, leather upholstery, interior air quality system that reduces PM2.5 & PM10 by 95%, power operated front seats with drivers memory, personal car communicator with keyless entry and drive, fixed panoramic sunroof, bluetooth and USB enabled high performance audio system, gear shift paddles, park assist pilot + park assist, front and rear and a rear parking camera.

- V40 D3 Kinetic- INR 25.49 lakh (available only on a made to order basis)
