I feel that M&M has cracked the deal in this segment with XUV 500 and pricing it very sensibly(unlike Aria from TATA). Going by various reports, the combination of superb(literally) build, looks, features and the price will ensure the MoM sales numbers cracking. Hoping to get in the driver's seat soon :-)).

Are the air dams on the front bumper fake? They look like an overkill...

The pricing looks great.

PS: The maroon+black interior similar to the Aria?
I like 'em Naked.

din't want to post anything here till everything was over.. MnM have always been taking respose from their customers and improving their vehicles.. i guess this is the result of all that.. good car but i feel that power (although from your review seems ample) but i feel it is less.. come on man this is the 21st centruy.. cruze (should be renamed intercontinental ballistic missile) with just an 2.0 liter engine produces 150 horses (which the company feels less and will be bumped up to 163) and 327nm of torque.. i am dead sure that after the rise in power, mileage will also rise which already is at 17+ as per company claims (A.R.A.I fig must be same) .. so this baby with an 10% bigger engine should have been a lot better.. my feeling is people will think about this point itself.. i.e, it will lag in places and for its bad luck looks bulky as well.. over all a nice product which could have been a tad better..

The XUV 5OO is a killer. We had organised a special program for our potential car loan customers in association with a dealer here and I was lucky to get my hands on the W8 one for a very brief period. Its really good and M&M has come of age if I dare say. Its more car like and its really fun on the road. There's very little outside noise intruding into the cabin. Very chuckable and tractable. The aircon was effective and I really liked the aircon in the B and C pillar.

I would say certainly not an Aria Killer...saw one at a showroom- the comparison is more like a Grand Cherokee and a Range Rover ;) Talking size and road-presence wise.

PS- I am new to the forum and cannot possibly go thru the entire of it hence apologies if this query be me has been dealt with somewhere here previously.
